How To Use This Medicine
Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label, unless instructed differently by your doctor
* Patient should read specific PATIENT INFORMATION provided with this medicine before starting treatment and each time their
prescription is renewed.
* Make sure you, family members, and friends understand how and when to use this medication.
* Symptoms of hypoglycemia include: stomach pain, anxious feeling, chills, confusion, cool pale skin, drowsiness, excessive
hunger, fast heartbeat,
* cold sweats, shakiness, vision changes. Severe symptoms include: convulsions and unconsciousness.
* Unless hypoglycemic symptoms are severe, take glucose or glucose containing foods at first sign of symptoms.
* Contact doctor or hospital emergency service immediately if hypoglycemic symptoms occur.
How To Store This Medicine
Take missed oral dose when remembered and remaining doses at even intervals. Omit missed topical dose.
Other Side Effects
Respiratory depression; Severe skin itching with patches; Vomiting; Nausea; Low blood pressure.
If symptoms are mild but do not go away or are bothersome, check with your doctor. IF ANY OF THE ABOVE SIDE EFFECTS IS SEVERE,
CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY.
Precautions And Warnings
* There are no adequate or well-controlled safety studies in pregnant women. NOTIFY YOUR DOCTOR IF PREGNANT or intend to become
pregnant.
* Patients should wear identification tags (Medic-Alert) so appropriate treatment can be given if complications occur away from
home.
